Mark and Sue Mr & Mrs Elves, were married by Jerry Sutton at St Margares Church, Dunham Massey at 2pm on Saturday the 6th of June 2009

From church they travelled in style to Arley Hall Cheshire in the only car that can makes a true statement. A Gleaming “Rolls Royce White Phantom” The day time meal and drinks were held in the main old part of Arley Hall while the evening reception, drinks and dancing where held in the all new Olympia Suite opened in February of this year.

The Olympia Suite is purpose built for evening functions and well laid out from a DJ’s / Bands point of view. The access is easy there are ample power points a brilliant dance floor and the room in itself has excellent acoustics.

As a disco service we feel it’s very important to communicate with your engagers allowing you to personalise each function as much as possible. With Mark & Sue’s function we changed the front of our show to a starcloth frontage to be more in keeping with the venue, took onboard music requests 1st / last dances, we even provided music video’s to assist with specific dance moves.

Using Van Morrison’s “Have I told you lately that I love you” as their first dance, Adam and the Ants “Prince Charming” as what can only be described as a brilliant party piece, adding “Love is in The Air” to spice things up a little and concluding with
Roberta Flack’s “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”

The night including a mini break for chapattis (sausage and bacon baps)some requested slow songs including Matt Monro “On Days Like These” (please ask Mark about this one) just flew by so much so poor Michael just could not keep awake and was seen to be asleep on a chair … Bless

HISTORY

Mark & Sue met in Jan 08 in a Knutsford Wine Bar after contacting one another via an online dating agency – (Mark recalls I never thought Id do it, but there you go!)
They officially got engaged at Marks old cottage on June 5th last year, where Mark gave Sue her ring (a year and a day before the wedding) Sue recalls we toasted one another with champagne!

Sue is a senior consultant clinical psychologist, shes also a special sergeant with Cheshire Constabulary, a church warden in her spare time at St Margarets Church The quote “dont wait for her to sit still, it wont happen”!

The Groom E-mails .......

Hi Dave,

Just a quick e-mail between arriving home from the Lakes and packing cases for Italy, to say thanks for doing a great show for us on Saturday. Sue & I had a really fantastic day, and the music was just right. Everyone else loved it too, we have had loads of positive comments about it and about your professionalism too - they were even more impressed that we did the"Prince Charming" routine off the cuff with no practice!!

Thanks again, and if we need a DJ, or get asked to recommend one, we will definitely be in touch as you did a great job for us.
