The write up on eBay was very good it boasted:

Professional back drop for stage with approx 300 white & blue lamps. spare lamps included.
Made from cotton and comes with a backing to cover all wires. No confusing or complicated controllers needed. The cloth contains twinkling lamps which twinkle when you switch on.

WE however did and were very disappointed!!!
The backing was two different colours
The lights were Christmas tree lights, the likes you see in Wilkinson stores priced at £5.99 per 100
Only 40 of the 300 lights actually twinkle.
The write up is mis-leading

We are looking for people that are in the Longton /Stoke on Trent area to help set up and take down our different shows
The Job would involve carrying equipment in and out of venues mostly Friday Saturday nights

The Black plastic came and went, CD's arrived , and were almost replaced by Mini Disc, But MP3 format saved the day and the CD disc lived on a little longer .....

The Numark HDCD1 is a rack-mountable dual CD player with built-in 80 gig hard drive. The HDCD1 can store an entire DJ collection for the ultimate in portability, organization, and convenience.
It has two jumbo displays with dedicated controls which allows easy navigation for quick creation of playlists of entire music sets. A keyboard connection facilitates searching, and songs and playlists can be searched by title, artist, album, or genre.

I Replied " what do you think they are "
Being a little confident I also added you will never guess, but he did spot on ..
They look like an aluminium frame, supporting a black PVC Banner,with reflective lettering.

We have invested in a 80m watt double green laser, to compliment the projected images.

After much discussion with accountants and financial advisers the decision to make Dave Dee a limited company has been made.
As of Tuesday the 5th of April Dave Dee : The Complete Disco Service LTD was born
The advantages: To be taken more seriously in the entertainment industry, and of course to pay less tax |
