Mandy’s 50th Birthday party was held in the Sky Room at the Ramada Birmingham North Cannock, This room is 12 floors up, (there’s a lift)  and provides amazing views over Cannock, you can see this in the photos below.

The room itself is not massive and worked well with Mandy’s 60+ guests and our Option One equipment package, to compliment our equipment we also provided an uplighting package and utilised the 4 plasma TV’s already in the room to show a mixture of photos from Mandy’s past, her 21st birthday and wedding, all mixed with personalised visuals and birthday messages.

Mandy had only requested the one song, which was Roy Orbison’s - Oh Pretty Woman, see how we worked this song in the videos to the right, the rest of the night was made up from requests taken from the guests and my experience as a DJ, without a doubt a really good party atmosphere was created.

Final Thought

I love my work and feel very lucky to get engaged to DJ at 100’s of different events in amazing venues all over the UK, This event to me was more like a gathering of old friends, I felt part of this party as apposed to the DJ playing at a party.
